Totara Field Day

The second and final day of the Northland Tōtara Workshops/Field days enjoyed great weather and a big turn out yesterday. The days were funded by Te Uru Rākau and co-organised by the Northland Tōtara Working Group and Te Tai Tokerau Māori Forestry Inc.

Sustainably harvested forest areas were visited, an unruly youngster received some form-pruning, and a very positive vision for a future tōtara and native forestry industry was outlined.
