Indigenous tree bulletin series

Project Status: Completed

Tāne’s Tree Trust has collaborated with research providers Scion and Landcare Research, councils and other interest groups in the publication of 6 bulletins on the ecology, establishment and management of native trees. While the focus is on the option of managing planted and naturally regenerating stands of native forest species, there are a wide range of objectives and site types where the planting of native tree species can be appropriate in our productive landscapes. Bulletins cover the following species and subject areas – growth and management of totara, kauri, pohutukawa and the beeches; general guide on establishment of native trees; and native trees on farms.
