Field Day on 22 February

New Zealand Institute of Primary Industry Management, in conjunction with WRC and WFFA, is organising a field day with a theme “Integrating farm forestry to achieve Economic and Environmental sustainability”. The details are;

Integrating Farm Forestry and Pastoral Farming:

Theme: Integrating farm forestry to achieve Economic and Environmental sustainability.

Date: 22 Feb 2018 (Thursday) 1.30 pm -4.30 pm.

Location: Property of Graeme & Tess Smith, 1291 Wharepuhunga Rd, Te Awamutu. (21 Km SE of Kihikihi)

An on farm visit to the Smith’s property to view first hand successful diversified to Farm Forestry on a dairy farm.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about this topic and how forestry can be an effectively contribute to a pastoral farming business.

Members of the Waikato Branch of the Farm Forestry Association will also be present.
